An AI girlfriend you can hear, too.

For when you want more than text: Reina, a teasing line and a voice reply in the same Telegram chat.

The short answer

Sometimes you want to hear whether a line sounds amused, warm or a little cheeky. Listen to the welcome preview first. If you like the delivery, try a short voice reply in a conversation you are already enjoying.

The words are only part of it.

“You’re late” can sound annoyed, relieved or teasing. In text, you supply much of that delivery yourself. With a generated voice reply, you hear one particular interpretation of the words.

That is a reason to listen before you choose a character. A voice that sounds impressive for five seconds may not be the one you want to hear in a quiet conversation. Notice whether the pace and tone suit you.

Listen to the preview in your own language.

Reina’s profile has a welcome voice preview, just like the other Nexa profiles. Her glamorous, teasing character is a good reason to listen rather than judge only by the picture. Let the sample play once without reading anything else.

Pronunciation, pauses and language matter. If you expect to chat in Brazilian Portuguese, an English sample alone cannot tell you exactly how the Portuguese delivery will feel.

  • Can you comfortably follow the pace?
  • Does the pronunciation suit the language you intend to use?
  • Do you like the tone without looking at the photo?
  • Would you rather hear a short reply or read it in that moment?

You do not have to turn everything into audio.

Text is handy for names, recommendations and the detail you want to find again later. Audio can be enjoyable for a greeting, a short story or a line where the delivery is the point. Neither format has to replace the other.

In Nexa, ask for audio when you want to hear the delivery and check the credit confirmation. You can keep the rest of the conversation in text. There is no need to turn every message into a voice note.

Start with a line that has some personality.

A greeting works, but a playful disagreement gives you more to listen for. Tell Reina you are absolutely sure your terrible film recommendation is excellent. Hear what the next reply does with it.

The audio is generated, so delivery can vary from one reply to another. Start with the welcome preview and a short exchange. You will learn more about whether you like the voice that way.

Take this with you

Listen to the preview, then try a line you would actually enjoy hearing.
